The Big Freeze.

And no, we’re not talking about Melbourne Winter.

Commonwealth Games stars Steve Moneghetti, Sharelle McMahon and Steve Hooker will today take the plunge into a pool of icy water at the MCG.

Why?

To raise much needed funds and awareness for AFL great and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) sufferer Neil Daniher’s charity FightMND.

The Big Freeze campaigns over the past three years have raised more than $8 million which FightMND has committed to funding vital MND research.

Donations can be made online through the Big Freeze donate page,

You can also donate by texting the word FREEZE to 0429 000 333.

Donations can also be made offline via cheque, direct EFT deposit, and credit card. To donate offline via one of these methods you can download the ‘Offline Donation Form’ by clicking here and mailing it to the address on the bottom of the form. All donations will receive a formal tax receipt via email.

Good luck to our Champions and all those involved in this great cause.
