Why did you begin your sport?

I Saw professional wrestling on tv as a kid and thought it looked fun. I was captivated and joined the local club to try wrestling for myself and quickly its NOT what I though but I loved it and the discipline. While it wasn't jumping off ropes and things like Tv it was in a ring, I loved it from the start and began to compete with my local club. Moved to Australia in 2009 for a better lifestyle with his family. Wrestling helped me as I was used to travelling overseas but adjusting to life in Australia was different. I've also had a lot more opportunities and weather and people are nice I love it here. Australia feels like home now even though I will be competing against the the UK, but it will be great too catch up with overseas wrestling friends.

Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?

I have a plan of what i want to do from 24 hours out and like to stick to it start to finish. Because it's a weight based sport I lose 8-9 kg a week out. Overnight I can put on 6 kg to refuel and go from the 74 kg division to the 60 kg division. The 24 hour plan involves nutrition. How to relax and not stress about competition and focus on what I need to. By staying with my routine that I plan I know I can do this. the plan changes per competition but helps me be mentally prepared.
