Why did you begin your sport?

To be manly like my older brothers.

Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?

I like to wear new socks and jocks. Isn't a superstition because I haven't fought many times not doing this but I like to feel fresh and clean before I get under those lights.

What is your most memorable sporting achievement?

Boxing team captain of the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games

Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?

Jim Stynes, I never got to meet Jim but I got introduced to something he created along with Paul Currie (The Reach foundation) that gives teenagers a space to be themselves and realise there full potential. I truly believe I wouldn't be where I am now if I hadn't crossed paths with such an amazing foundation

Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?

Defiantly my coach Brian Levier. I've been with Brian since the start since I was 9, Brian taught me very early on how to love the sport of boxing with all my heart. No matter how serious boxing gets I still manage to have fun and love what I do purely because of him and how he has taught me. One of the greatest role models I have and I'm so grateful not just to have him as my coach but best mate too.

Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?

Boxing takes up a lot of time but when I can fit it in I volounter at the Reach Foundation

What is your sporting ambition?

Gold medal at 2018 Commonwealth Games and Gold medal at 2020 Olympics.
