Georgia Rae Leslie Sheehan

Georgia Sheehan (diving) is a two-time Commonwealth Games medallist who has represented Australia at the Glasgow 2014 and Gold Coast 2018 Games. A former gymnast turned diver, Sheehan debuted at the Glasgow 2014 Games finishing fourth in the women’s 1m springboard event. At the Gold Coast 2018 Games, competing in front of friends and family Sheehan paired with Esther Qin to win gold in the women’s synchronised 3m springboard and individually won silver in the women’s 1m springboard event. Sheehan began her diving career after seeing Australian diving legend Mathew Mitcham competing at the Beijing 2008 Olympics and lists cycling legend Anna Meares as one of her heroes.
