Why did you begin your sport?
I started with swimming lessons and never stopped! It was all a bit of an accident.
Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?
I always like to have my nails done before I compete, to add a bit of personality when everything else is covered with swim suits, caps, and goggles.
What is your most memorable sporting achievement?
Qualifying for my first senior Australian swim team in 2015
Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?
Susie O'Neill. I remember watching her compete at the 2000 Olympics and being inspired not only by her athletic achievement but also by her modesty and humility.
Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?
My mum. She's always been there for me no matter what, always believed in me and what I was capable of, and sacrificed so much to give me every opportunity as an athlete.
Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?
I love baking & reading, and want to start some new things like volunteering and ballroom dance classes
What is your sporting ambition?
To represent Australia at the Olympic Games, being the best version of myself that I can be along the way.
