Donald Wagstaff

Don Wagstaff (diving) won four golds, two silvers and a bronze medal across four editions of the Commonwealth Games. Wagstaff is also a three-time Olympic diver. During his 12-year career, the son of a former diving champion, Wagstaff commenced his medal haul with two silver medals in Jamaica at the Kingston 1966 Commonwealth Games. Improving on his performance four years later to take gold medals in the 3m springboard and 10m platform events at the Edinburgh 1970 Commonwealth Games, Wagstaff successfully defended both titles again in 1974 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ending his representative career in Edmonton in 1978, claiming the bronze medal in the springboard event. Adding to the event treble of Australian diving titles he won an incredible seven times, Wagstaff is one of the greatest divers in Australian history.
