Maree Robinson

Maree Eccleston (Robinson) (swimming) won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly at the 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. A member of the famous Bondi Amateur Swimming Club, of which Murray Rose and Margaret Whitlam were also members, Robinson was just 15-years-old when she won gold in Edinburgh, making her one of the youngest Commonwealth Games champions in Australian history.
