Matt Denny returns from Germany to ‘re-evaluate’
On a quest to qualify for the IAAF World Championships in London, Matt Denny flew out last month bound for the European athletics circuit.
Over six weeks, Denny’s plan was to test himself against the world’s top throwers, experience the challenges of international competition and primarily qualify.
As the nature of sport would have it, he returned home two weeks earlier, no closer to his world championship goal.
