Why did you begin your sport?
I was curious, I worked close to a boxing gym and was playing soccer and got sick of getting rained out all the time so I gave it a go and I instantly wanted to see how good I could get.
Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?
not really. I try not to be overly superstitious I just try to go with what feels right before that particular event. Although I do like to wear fun socks in the ring.
What is your most memorable sporting achievement?
Going to the World Championships in 2016 is definately up there. That was an amazing experience.
Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?
Jean Claude Van Damme, I grew up with him when we were young my brother and I got to chose what movie we would rent and that was what we could agree on and is the quintessential 80's/ 90's action movie actor.
Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?
My coach at the moment Joel Keegan because without him I would have never got to where I am today. he allowed me to view the sport in a light that i couldn't have imagined before. It allowed me to be the best that I could possibly be at this sport.
Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?
I draw do a lot of art and play music and very passionate about my studies at the moment currently doing a bachelor of arts and economics in my first semester.
What is your sporting ambition?
I want to be the best in the world. At the moment representing at commonwealth games and the world championships 2018.
