Anaia competes in rugby 7s and currently represents Manly Mermaids, having started when she was 12 years old. Her recent achievements include making the 2022 Australian Youth Rugby 7s team and placing 2nd at World Schools, as well as being part of the 2023 NSW All School Champion Team. Her ambition to win gold at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games came true after the team took home a 50-0 victory over Canada in the final. Her future aspirations are making the Australian Women’s 7s team and competing at the Olympic Games.
