
Anneliese Rubie-Renshaw
Annelise Rubie-Renshaw (athletics) is a two-time Commonwealth Games representative. Rubie-Renshaw competed at her maiden Games in Glasgow in 2014, competing in the 4x400m relay where Australia placed fourth and in the individual 400m event where she made the semi-finals. At the 2018 Gold Coast Games, Renshaw made the 400m women’s final finishing seventh, running a time of 52.03 seconds. As a debutant at the Olympic Games, Rubie- Renshaw delivered a magnificent campaign in Rio, advancing to the 400m semi-final, she was also an integral member of the 4x400m relay team that placed eighth. After experiencing a troublesome few years with injuries, Rubie-Renshaw strung together a series of consistent races in 2021 to earn her a second Olympic berth being selected in the 4x400m relay for the Tokyo Olympics. Away from the track, Rubie-Renshaw loves going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends.
