Ashleigh Brazill

One of eight players who made their Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham, Ash Brazill (netball) has combined a successful netball and AFLW career with the Collingwood Magpies. However, she skipped the AFLW for the 2022 season to focus on her preparation for Birmingham which paid off with a gold medal. Brazill can play any of the midcourt positions at the highest level, with her versatility a major strength. She made her Diamonds debut against New Zealand in 2015. The cross-coder has played for the Collingwood Magpies in the Super Netball league since 2017 having previously played for the NSW Swifts (2010-11) and West Coast Fever (2012-16). She bounced back from a serious knee injury sustained while playing AFLW in 2019 and was named in the Australian all-star team.
