Bianca Chatfield

Bianca Chatfield (netball) is a two-time Commonwealth Games medallist, winning silver at the Melbourne 2006 Games and gold at the Glasgow 2014 Games for the Australian Diamonds. After starring for the premiership-winning Melbourne Phoenix in the 2000 Commonwealth Bank Trophy domestic national league season when she was 16-years-old, Chatfield was selected for her international debut in 2001 when she just 18 years of age, making her one of the youngest debutants in Diamonds history. Over a career that spanned 13 years, Chatfield made 59 appearances for Australia, including the triumphant 2007 Netball World Cup Team and called time on her international career following the 2014 Commonwealth Games where she was a joint vice-captain of the gold medal-winning side. Her domestic netball career is one of legend, playing over 240 games for the Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne Vixens, captaining the latter for several years and winning six premierships – four with the Phoenix and two with the Vixens.
