Braden competes in swimming and currently represents UWA West Coast Swimming Club, having started when he was 9 years old. His sporting achievements include winning the gold medal in the 1500m freestyle at the 2023 Age National Championships and being a 3-time finalist at the same event. Braden was selected in the 12-person squad that attended the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, and competed in four events including the 1500m freestyle where he finished in 10th. His aspirations include being selected onto an Australian Dolphins Team and being selected to the 2024 Australian Junior Team.
