Braden competes in swimming and currently represents UWA West Coast Swimming Club, having started when he was 9 years old. His sporting achievements include being selected to the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, winning the gold medal in the 1500m freestyle at the 2023 Age National Championships and being a 3-time finalist at the same event. His aspirations include being selected onto an Australian Dolphins Team and being selected to the 2024 Australian Junior Team.
