
Bradley Woodward
Bradley Woodward (swimming) claimed three medals on the Gold Coast in 2018, gold from the 4x100m medley (heat swim) and silver in both the 100m and 200m backstroke. After podium finishes in the 50m and 200m backstroke at the Australian championships, Woodward will again be chasing medals in Birmingham. Hailing from Shelly Beach on the NSW Central Coast, Woodward followed the path of many on the Australian swim team – swimming lessons, success at school carnivals, now let’s get more serious and get a coach. More recently that coach has been Adam Kable. Woodward quickly progressed to state titles, but 2016 saw the intersection of a number of major events – his HSC, breaking his ankle and making Australian teams in both swimming and lifesaving.
