Bronte Job

Bronte Job (swimming) made her Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham where she reached the final of her only event, the women’s 50m backstroke.

In 2019, the then 16-year-old claimed gold in the 50m backstroke at the world junior championships in Budapest – her first international meet – denying Canada’s Jade Hannah a backstroke trifecta.

Job completed her year 12 studies in 2020 at All Hallows’ School where she was the swimming captain and competed alongside fellow Dolphins squad member Elizabeth Dekkers. She trains at the Rackley Centenary swim squad in Brisbane under coach Damien Jones.
