Callum Peters (boxing) is making his Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham. At 19-years-old, Callum is the youngest member of the boxing team in Birmingham when he competes in the 75kg middleweight division, Australia’s most successful weight division at the Games. The oldest of five children, Callum took up boxing to improve his fitness and is coached by his father, Bradley, at North Central Boxing Club at Kapunda near the Barossa Valley. He has had more than 50 amateur fights. Callum says that being named Australian Youth Champion in 2018 and best fighter of the tournament are his career highlights so far.
