Charlize competes in athletics and currently represents Ipswich District Athletics Club, having started when she was 10 years old. Her most recent sporting achievements include winning four medals at the National Championships in the U18 and U20 age groups for Discus and Javelin, representing Australia in the 2022 Mini Pacific Games and winning gold in Discus and representing Australia at the 2022 Oceania Games, winning two medals in Heptathlon and Javelin. Charlize was also part of the Australian team at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, competing in discus. Her future aspirations include continuing to enjoy competing and representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games.
