Why did you begin your sport?

Did little Athletics as a kid at Box Hill and then took up running more seriously in High School. Played a lot of sports but nothing as satisfying and rewarding as distance running.

Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?

Train hard.

What is your most memorable sporting achievement?

Honestly I have probably had more disappointments than memorable moments...One moment that comes to mind was an Athletics Victoria relay as part of the XCR series a number of years ago. I love running with Box Hill and to be part of a team was great. We came up against the Knox team who we had a bit of a rivalry with. It was a 6x6km event at Jells Park and was close all day. We just managed to win at the end. Running with Steve Kelly, Daniel Clark, and Steve Dineen in my team up against my good mates Sam Crowther, Kane Wille, and Jeff Riesley was a good memory. Other memorable moments I would have to say was running 28.18 in the 10km Zatopek and also the Marathon in Amsterdam where I previously mentioned it felt like a significant achievement just to finish.
