Damien Bowen

Damien Bowen (athletics) represented Australia at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games in the shot put para sport event where he narrowly missed out on the medals and finished fourth. Bowen was born in Perth, Western Australia and started athletics in 2006, going on to represent Australia at the Beijing 2008 Paralympics finishing seventh in the F33/34/52 men’s javelin event, and 12th at the London 2012 Paralympics. After calling time on his athletics career, Bowen works as a senior exercise physiologist at ‘Vibe Rehabilitation’ in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, a clinic he and his wife own and operate.
