Damita competes in rugby 7s and currently represents the NSW Waratahs Sevens, having played since she was 16 years old. Her recent sporting achievements include placing third at the World Schools Sevens in New Zealand for Two Blues, and second at the NSW Pacifica Cup for NSW Samoa. At the 2023 Trinbago Commonwealth Youth Games, Damita was part of the women’s rugby 7s side that won gold, and scored the final try of their 50-0 win over Canada in the final. Her future aspirations include making the Aussie Sevens side and competing at the Olympic Games.
