Why did you begin your sport?
Showed some early talent for it. And had all the right people guiding me at the right time.
Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?
Nope.
What is your most memorable sporting achievement?
Rio 2016 - coming 16th in the 10,000m, with all my family there.
Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?
My hero's and idols are among the family and friends I keep. I have some incredibly special and influential people in my life, but most are the humble, behind-the-scenes folk that aren't famous, and whom would be too humble to consider themselves heroes or idols.
Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?
Without a doubt my parents. There would never have been the opportunity to pursue a career chasing Olympic and Commonwealth Games opportunities without their love and support - emotional and financial.
Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?
I love cooking. Nothing makes me happier than cooking up a feast and having friends to share it with.
What is your sporting ambition?
To run better than my last best race - always!
