Debbie Cain

Debra Cain (swimming) turned 14-years-old the day before the opening ceremony of the 1970 Edinburgh Games, she went on to win a full complement of medals, with gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay, silver in the 100m backstroke and bronze in the 200m backstroke at the Games, making Cain one of the youngest Commonwealth Games medallists in history. Four years later in Christchurch, Cain won two silver medals as part of the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m medley teams. Cain represented Australia in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
