Denise Green (Langford) (swimming) competed at the 1968 Mexico Olympics and 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. At the Edinburgh Games, Langford was a star in the pool, winning four gold medals in the 200m and 400m individual medley, the 4x100m freestyle and medley relays, and a silver medal in the 400m freestyle. Denise’s daughter Kimberlee Green, won a gold medal for Australia in netball at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.
