Dina Aspandiyarova

Dina Aspandiyarova (shooting) is a four-time Commonwealth Games medallist after representing Australia at the Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. Born in Kazakhstan, Dina represented her birth-country at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, after naturalising for Australia ahead of the Melbourne 2006 Games, Dina paired with Lalita Yauhleuskaya to win gold in the women’s 10m air pistol pairs event, and silver in the women’s 10m air pistol event. Returning at the Delhi 2010 Games, to pair with Pamela McKenzie to win silver in the pairs event, and bronze in the individual 10m air pistol event. Representing Australia at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics, Aspandiyarova was selected again to represent the green and gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
