Greg Benko

Greg Benko (fencing) is a legend of Australian fencing who competed in the 1970 Games in Edinburgh along with four Olympic Games from 1972 to 1984. A member of the team which won silver in the men’s foil in Edinburgh, Benko also won bronze in the men’s sabre event. An Olympic finalist, finishing 6th, in 1976 in Montreal, Benko remains the only Australian fencer to achieve the feat.
