Jasynta competes in athletics and currently represents Sutherland Districts Athletics Club, having started when she was 4 years old. Her most recent achievements include placing second in both the 100m Hurdles and 200m at the 2023 Australian Athletics Championships, as well as placing second in the 100m Hurdles and 100m sprint at the 2022 Australian All Schools. Jasynta competed in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, finishing sixth in the final. She was also part of the mixed 4x400m relay team that won the bronze medal. Her future aspirations include competing at the Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, and World Championships.
