Jean Roberts

Jean Roberts (athletics) competed at four Commonwealth Games in the shot put and discus throw events. In 1962 at the Games in Perth, Roberts won silver in the shot put before claiming silver in the discus four years later in Kingston. At the 1970 Games in Edinburgh, Roberts won silver in the discus and bronze in the shot put. Finishing her representative career, Roberts won bronze in the shot put in Christchurch in 1974. Roberts also represented Australia at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.
