Jye competes in swimming and currently represents St Peters Western, having started when he was 5 years old. His recent achievements include being a finalist and podium finisher at the Age National Championships and being selected to the QLD State Team. Jye was part of the mixed 4x200m freestyle relay team that won gold at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, and claimed two other bronze medals during the competition. His aspirations include representing Australia at the highest level of competition and becoming a world record holder.
