I got asked to try it out when I was 20. Loved it and never looked back
Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?
I buy a pair of new socks every major competition and if it is an international competition I FaceTime my son before I warm up

competing at world championship 2014
Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?
my coaches and my team mates at the weight lifting Academy. They have stuck by me through some hard times in my career and are family to me

I like to ride motorbikes

to win a medal at Commonwealth Games
