Why did you begin your sport?

My mum had taken up Lawn Bowls. It took me 2 years of watching her most Saturday afternoons to decide that I would have a go. I was instantly hooked!

Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?

No I'm really boring!

What is your most memorable sporting achievement?

Winning the World Pairs title in 2012 and the World Fours title in 2016

Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?

I'm a cowboys supporter so I'm a HUGE JT fan! I've had a few photos with him over the years. I'm also a big fan of tennis so I love watching Serena Williams. She is amazing and even more so now that I know she won the Australian Open pregnant!

Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?

My mum Marilyn. She has driven me to hundreds of competitions. She has encouraged me the whole journey and been there when I've won all three of my World Titles. She's my lucky charm!

Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?

I like to have a hit of tennis. I don't mind getting out in the garden. I'm really keen on renovating so I love watching the Block. In 2012/13 I traveled to 7 countries (favourite was Egypt), so I have a travel bug. Hopefully my next holiday will be my honeymoon if we ever find time to plan a wedding!

What is your sporting ambition?

To win GOLD at the 2018 Commonwealth Games
