Kyle Bruce

Kyle Bruce (weightlifting)  is one of seven Commonwealth Games debutants on the 2022 team who claimed silver at the 2021 Commonwealth Championships in Tashkent, which were decided based on the results from the World Championships, where he was 15th overall. He owns the Uplift Weightlifting Gym in Sydney where he is head coach alongside Isabel Lorenzi. Isabel finished 11th in the women’s 76kg at the 2021 World Championships in Tashkent. Bruce set all three of his 81kg PBs in clean & jerk (182kg), snatch (149kg) and total (331kg) in October 2021.
