Leilani competes in rugby 7s and currently represents QLD Reds, having started when she was 16 years old. Her recent sporting achievements include representing Australia at the World All Schools Rugby 7s competition, as well as being crowned the 2022 Australian U18 hurdles champion. Leilani was part of the Australian 7s side that won gold at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, scoring six tries including a hat-trick against Kenya in the group stage. Her aspirations include competing at an Olympic Games and World Championships.
