Lisa Campbell (badminton) was the gold medallist in the women’s singles event at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria. It was her second Commonwealth Games, after competing at the Auckland 1990 Games. She also part of the bronze medal-winning team at the Victoria Games. The singles win was Australia’s first individual gold at the Commonwealth Games in Badminton and just Australia’s second-ever victory, following the mixed doubles gold by Audrey Tuckey and Michael Scandolera in 1986. Campbell competed for Australia in the badminton singles and doubles events at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.
