Lucy competes in netball and currently represents Matrics Netball Club, having started when she was 8 years old. Her recent achievements include winning the 2023 U19 Netball National Championships and being crowned the Most Valuable Player of the competition. Lucy was selected in the Australian Fast5 netball team that competed at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games. Playing in the midcourt, she was a vital distributor for the team as they rolled through the tournament undefeated, snaring gold after a 39-29 win over South Africa. Her aspirations include playing for a Suncorp Super Netball Club and also for the Australian Diamonds.
