Luke Adams

Luke Adams (athletics) is a three-time Commonwealth Games silver medallist in racewalking. Born in Tanzania where his parents worked as medical missionaries, Adams debuted at the Manchester 2002 Games finishing just 0.6 seconds behind teammate Nathan Deakes in the 20km event to claim silver. At the Melbourne 2006 Games, Adams again finished behind Deakes for silver but ahead of teammate Jared Tallent. Adams would make it three straight silvers finishing behind Tallent this time at the Delhi 2010 Games. Representing the green and gold at the Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics, Adam finished a Olympic career best sixth in Beijing.
