Mick McGrath
Gerald ‘Mick’ McGrath (athletics) competed in the triple jump at the 1970 Edinburgh and 1974 Christchurch Commonwealth Games, along with the 1972 Munich Olympics. In 1970, McGrath won the silver medal in the triple jump behind teammate Phil May. A student at Melbourne University, Mick was awarded a full blue in 1969, for outstanding performance in inter-university events. In 2014, McGrath was named by Athletics Victoria in the Victorian all-time Commonwealth Games team.
