Why did you begin your sport?
I did the cross country races in primary school, but really I was a lot more focused on soccer when I was young and starting off!
Do you have any pre-competition routines or rituals?
Not really, I just like to chill out and be relaxed.
What is your most memorable sporting achievement?
Making my first Senior Athletics team at the 2017 London World Champs.
Who is your hero / idol, and why? Have you ever met them?
It would have to be Australian 10,000m record holder Ben St Lawrence. He has many accolades when it comes to running (despite his late start), but above all he is just a lovely person and has always offered me guidance since I was a young junior. I had the pleasure of training with him in Sydney for many years.
Who has been the most influential person or people in your career and why?
There have been so many people that have got me to where I am today. I would have to say that my parents have been the most influential though. They have always pushed me to be better, but at the same time haven't ever forced me to do anything, and have allowed me to always pursue whatever I wanted! They let me take my own path.
Do you have any hobbies away from your sport?
I like to eat good food and spend time with friends.
What is your sporting ambition?
To be the best in the world and run Australian records.
