Ori competes in athletics and currently represents Maccabi Athletics, having started when he was 10 years old. His most recent sporting achievements include breaking the Australian records in the T35 100m, 200m, and 800m. At the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, Ori narrowly missed out on the gold medal in the men’s T38 100m race, finishing just 0.03s behind the winner in second position. He won a second silver in the T38 long jump competition, trailing fellow Australian Jackson Love. His future aspirations include representing Australia at the Paralympic Games and being an ambassador for para sport.
