Romi Brown

Romi Brown (Gymnastics), will make her Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham 2022. Romi started in the sport when she was seven, training at the Cheltenham Youth Club, but really burst onto the scene with some outstanding results in 2014, including claiming the All-Around title at the Australian Junior Nationals. She continued to mount good results at the junior level at the Nationals until progressing to the seniors in 2018. Romi then made the final in the Uneven Bars at the 2019 World Cup in Melbourne, finishing 5th, helping her claim a spot on the Australian team for the International Gym-nix in Montreal, where the team claimed bronze. Brown then competed at the 2020 International Gym-nix, finishing 6th on the Uneven Bars. Romi finished 3rd in the all-Around title at the 2022 Australian Championships, 1st in the Bars and 3rd on the Floor, which augurs well for her chances in Birmingham.
