Samuel competes in cycling and currently represents Team Bridgelane and Launceston City Cycling Club, having started when he was 11 years old. His most recent achievements include winning the U19 National Scratch Race, claiming second in the National U19 Individual Pursuit and being Leader of the National U19 Road Series. His future aspirations include winning an elite international competition and racing for a professional road team.
