Sandra Brown
Sandra Brown (athletics) won a silver medal in the 400m at the 1970 Games in Edinburgh, finishing behind Jamaican Marilyn Neufville who won in a new world record time of 51.0 secs. Brown also ran for Australia in the 400m at the 1968 Mexico Olympics. In 1968, she won the 400m/800m double at the Australia championships. Brown was coached by the legendary June Ferguson, who also coached Olympic champions Betty Cuthbert and Maureen Caird.
