Sarah Klau

Sarah Klau (netball) is one of Australia’s best defensive rebounders, standing at 190cm tall Kalu owns the defensive circle. Klau got her first taste of international competition when she began training with the Diamonds before the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Her first on-court appearance for the Diamonds was at the 2019 Netball World Cup in the UK where the Diamonds took silver after losing to New Zealand by a goal. As a South Australian native, Kalu began her professional career with the Adelaide Thunderbirds before taking up a spot with the NSW Swifts. Klau has also represented Australia in Fast5 netball and has attained both a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. With a big 2022 season ahead, Kalu is looking forward to making her debut at the Birmingham 2022 Games.
