Stephanie Kershaw
Stephanie Kershaw (hockey) was part of the silver medal-winning Hockeyroos at the Gold Coast and Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Stephanie followed her father and older siblings into hockey and moved to Queensland Academy of Sport in Brisbane after finishing high school. She was part of the National Development squad in 2015, making her Hockeyroos debut later that year against Korea. The first of two serious knee injuries, both requiring reconstructions, put her out of contention for the 2016 Rio Olympics. She was named Player of the Tournament for the 2017 Australian Hockey League and was selected for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. However a second knee reconstruction ruled her out for 2019, but she recovered and got the call for her Olympic debut in Tokyo. The attacking forward/midfielder has now played over 100 games for Australia.
Stephanie is studying primary education Curtin University in Perth while training with the national squad.
