Toby competes in athletics and currently represents Ipswich and District Athletics Club, having started when she was 4 years old. Her most recent achievements include finishing 8th at the World Junior Championships, 1st at All Schools Nationals and 2nd at U18 Nationals. In 2023, Toby travelled to Trinidad to compete at the Commonwealth Youth Games. She produced a clearance of 1.78m, which was enough to give her the gold medal in the high jump. Her future aspirations include being included to the Diamond League, jumping over 1.90m, and representing Australia at the Olympic Games.
