About Cycling

Cycling was first held at the 1934 British Empire Games in London, England with only three events. Women’s events were added to the program in 1990 and Para-cycling was first introduced into the program in 2014 at Glasgow, Scotland. There are now three disciplines: Track, Road and Mountain Bike.

The governing body of cycling in Australia is AusCycling.
