A team featuring some of Australia’s most decorated Commonwealth Games divers and emerging stars has been named for the upcoming 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.
Headlining the squad is Maddison Keeney, a six-time Commonwealth Games medallist and one of Australia’s most experienced international performers.
Keeney added two gold medals to her tally at the Birmingham 2022 Games, continuing her long-standing success on the global stage.
She is joined by Georgia Sheehan, who captured gold in the 3m synchronised springboard and silver in the 1m springboard at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, building on her reputation as one of Australia’s most consistent performers.
Cassiel Rousseau, the 2023 men’s 10m platform world champion and Birmingham 2022 gold medallist, headlines the men’s contingent for Singapore.
Adding to the depth of the team are Alysha Koloi and Jaxon Bowshire, both previously recognised as Emerging Athlete of the Month nominees.
Koloi continues to impress in springboard events, while Bowshire has made strong progress as a platform diver, earning his place on the senior team following their debuts at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The 2025 World Aquatics Championships will take place in Singapore from 11 July to 3 August, bringing together the world’s best divers for one of the sport’s most prestigious events.
