Three of Commonwealth Games Australia’s incredible female athletes have this week been nominated in Cosmopolitan’s Women of the Year 2018. 

This year’s line-up of fierce nominees includes Eloise Wellings, Madison De Rozario and Ellia Green alongside many of our nation’s most inspiring, talented and determined women.

Eloise Wellings - Love Mercy
Nominated in the category 'Humanitarian of the Year'. The Love Mercy Foundation empowers communities in Northern Uganda to overcome poverty. Australian Commonwealth Games champion Eloise Wellings is on a mission to increase the community's access to education, health care and income which has helped over 25,000 children and 10,000 women.
Madison De Rozario - Para athlete
Nominated in the category 'Sportswoman of the Year'. Commonwealth Games Para champion Madison De Rozario is fearless on the world sporting stage. She won two gold medal at Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, and made history by becoming the fastest Australian to win the women's wheelchair title at the 2018 London Marathon.
Ellia Green - Rugby 7s
Nominated in the category 'Sportswoman of the Year'. Ellia Green was part of the history-making gold medal team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and most recently a silver medallist at Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Ellia has cemented herself as 
one of the greats in Australian Rugby, blazing a trail for young females in our country.
