About Hockey

Hockey competitions for both men and women have been played at the Commonwealth Games since the introduction of team sports in 1998 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Australian Men’s team has won gold in all seven Games that Hockey has featured. The Australian Women’s team has won four gold, two silver and one bronze.

The governing body for Hockey in Australia is Hockey Australia.
